Why I don’t like shopping malls that much

In the year 2055, Cristian from Chile thinks we will say: I can’t believe that 50 years ago, in the year 2005, people used make up. I was thinking about that today, and here’s the story:
I had two things to buy; fresh bread and a fire alarm. Since I can’t get those two in the same shop, and since it was raining, I went to a shopping mall. (I don’t like shopping malls, I wish there were little independent shops, but I also like not getting soaked by the rain.) When I came up the escalator to the 2nd floor, there was a suntanned man looking at me, asking: ”Do you have natural nails?”. He absolutely wanted me to try out their new products. I ran away as politely as I could, only to walk into the next person who wanted to sell me other beauty products. Help me! Do I really seem to be their target person? You are probably not going to believe this, but a third person from a third stand asked me if I had time to listen to her beauty advice before I got out of there. This all happened within seven minutes. Can you believe the messages that the teens get, the ones who pass all their time there?
I kind of like having natural nails.
